On a dark and stormy night,there once lived a little green caterpiller named Gorgeouse.All herbutterfly friends called her names like,fatty-bom-bom,super fat lady,all sorts of that stuff when they were already butterflies.On a sunny and bright day Gorgeouse turned into the most beautiful butterfly in the world,that the other butterflies named her Queen of butterflies.But the queen didn’t know that there was a very jealous butterfly waiting to kill her.Her butterfly friends said that they were going to go get some necter from flowers for her.When the queen was finally at home alone,the jealous butterfly was ready to attack!!!!She pretended to be an old butterfly lady.She went to gorgeouse’s palace and knocked on the huge palace door.The queen opened the door and asked“Why did you knock on the palace door?”.The butterfly said:“Do you want to eat my free necter?”.“Oh,yes please!!!!”.The queen ate the necter and fell to the ground.When her butterfly friends returned,they were shocked and they screamed out loud.“Oh my goodness,our queen is poisoned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”.Her butterfly friends didn’t know that the break of the spell was the first true love’s kiss.There was a handsome king in the forest.The next day,the butterfly king was flying through the forest.He saw the queen lying on the floor.He flew down and gave her true love’s first kiss.The queen woke up in a sudden second.They were married and known as king and queen of the forest.As for the jealous butterfly,she was crushed by a human being.

I am a little elephant which was not an ordinary one. I am pretty and yellow in colour. I enjoyed jumping and spinning around, spending my days eating, sleeping or entertaining my forest friends with my impressive dancing skills. I smiles alot and my eyes always beamed with joy. It was a joyous moment for me to run around freely and performing tricks without being forced for those who love to watch. Being a elephant is great to me!

I am an eye(dot)of a bird.I am yellow and black in colour.I have some friends,zig zag line,curvy line,dotted line,wavy line and the dot sisters.Everyday,I help the bird to look for food to eat.Sometimes,I would see eagles and the bird would start to fly away.Life was good.The bird took great care of me.I often chat with my friends when the bird was sleeping.We were always happy,but the only problem was that there was a bully that sometimes bites us.It was called Snake.I asked the bird for help.The next day,the bird flew carefully near Snake,without Snake noticing.Just then,an eagle flew by.I saw the eagle and the bird hid in a hole of a tree.The eagle pecked snake to death and we lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time,there lived a butterfly named Lucy but she was sooooooooo kind and beautiful that the other butterflies called her queen of all the butterflies and that's made her feel happy,all though she was so admiring and famous, but she didn't know that there was a very very mean and jelous towards the queen but she never had a chance to attack her she was very angry and very red in the face too! Suddenly,she smiled a wide smile in her face,she's got an idea! she made a spell lately that afternoon after the queen went back to her house. her friends said"we are going to bring some food." and the queen agreed. the jelous butterfly went to where the queen lived and knocked smartly on the door.the queen went to open it the jelous butterfly sold her a pot os honey which had a spell in it. the queen didn't know that it was a pot of honey with a spell in it. she ate it and fell to the ground. when the butterflies came they saw her lying on the ground. they sank to the ground and cried tears down their faces. they didn't know that the spell inside the pot of honey was to let a butterfly togive her a true love kiss. just then,the king went by and saw what had happened. he saw the queen and fell in love with her. he kiss her and immediately the queen woke up at once.hugging the king. and as for jelous butterfly, it was crushed by a human being.

I am a wonderful butterfly that flutters around the forest. My wing are lush green and woody brown to blend into the forest trees. One day, I was fluttering around the forest ground when a green snake came out of nowhere. I quickly used my 'blending powers' to blend into the trees. The snake was confused and slithered away. I fluttered out of my hiding spot which was the same colour as my wings. Suddenly, a great big gust of wind blew me away and I followed the wind. Finally, the wind settled down and slowly put me down. I continued to fly and..... "What a wonderful sight!" I said. It was a great patch of beautiful flowers! It was all in different colours! Red, blue, yellow, purple, green (which is my favorite!), indigo and many more! I decided to make this my home. I settled down and laid my eggs and fell asleep. When I woke up, I was 'flying'! Someone has picked the flower i was on! I struggled but instead, I tore one of my wing. I have never felt such pain in life. I closed my eyes and never woke up...

I am a cute little butterfly in the picture.I have many good friends which are different lines,dots,colours,shapesand forms.Then on one day,we were 'playing' when a bully(which is a snake)came.He took my friends and locked them up in an old and colourless building.He then came to look for me.I hid on top of a blue tree(which is very unusual)and stayed there for two days without food or water.Then when my father was walking pass the tree I jumped down and told him what happened.He said that we should ask the God of Arts to send the bully out of the Art World.I did what he said and unlocked my friends from the creepy house.And the bully was never to be seen again.

It was a bright and sunny morning.The bright and warm colours made me want to go on an adventure in the jungle to search for five treasures.I strolled slowly through the jungle and saw lots of beautiful trees and flowers.Suddenly,I saw three little eaglets falling out of a large tree.I rushed forward as fast as I could to save them.After saving the eaglets,I put them back to their nest.Just then,the mother eagle saw me and said that she would repay my kindness.I smiled and continued my journey.As I walked through the forest,I admired the green nature and environment.All of a sudden,I saw a butterfly with colourful pstterns on its wings and a brown anaconda almost drowning in a river with strong currents.I took action immediately without thinking.I put a net around them and with all my strength,I pull them up.After I pull them up,they said that they would repay my kindness too.I also smiled and continued my journey.After a few minutes,I reached my destination.I took all the treasures and took the path towards home.Not long after I start my journey,I fell into a trap.The mother eagle came and pull me out using its strong claws.When I was on the ground, I said thank you to the mother eagle.I continued my journey towards home.I was halfway home when a fierce tiger with dazzling stipes appeared out of nowhere.The anaconda came and strangled it to death.I also said thank you to the anaconda.When I almost reached home,a black and poisonous tarantula dropped onto my skin from a tree.The butterfly came and used its colours to attract the spider's attention.While it was attracting,I shook the spider off.After it dropped to the ground,I ran as fast as a cheetah and shouted THANK YOU! at the same time to the butterfly.I reached home safely at last thanks to my friends[which was the animals].
I am the butterfly in the picture.I went to collect necter when i finished collecting i went to tell the others to come play with me in the park i had a wonderful time there.

I am a green dot. The other colour dots are my friends. We are part of a butterfly and we make the butterfly look beautiful. We do not like the black dot. It disturbs us when we are playing. I hate it when I am disturbed and troubled. My favourite friend is the blue dot. I can see him everyday because we are neighbours. The blue dot plus yellow dot make me. I am a secondary colour. I was a very small dot when I was young. As the butterfly grows I became bigger. Some of my friends are very big and some are small. There are lines which are my friends too. I like the wavy lines best. I play with them every week. We play joyfully and we do not fight. My colour dot friends and I are very happy to make the world a colourful place.

Hi, my name is Denny the dot. I am going to tell you the life in the jungle. I have seen many things that had happened.I am going to tell you an adventure story. In the jungle, there were many animals. Lions, tigers, rabbits, zebras, giraffes and many more animals. The king of the jungle was the lion and the queen of the jungle was the hyena. The hyena was covered with ugly spots and her face was covered with lines.The lion was covered with brown mane and his eyes were oval. He was very kind but the hyena was not. She was evil.
One day, they had a race. If the lion wins the race, he will have the whole jungle under his control. The hyena heard about it and laughed. "I will surely win the race. Ha Ha Ha...". So they started the race. Firstly, they had to run. So, they ran. The lion won the race.Then, they had a race of eating. If the hyena eats the fastest, she will win the race. Mrs Butterfly was helping lion to eat the honey while Mr Blowhose Dragon helped the hyena. The lion won the race again. So, the lion could control the colourful jungle. The hyena was so angry that she ran out of the jungle and never came back.
So, the jungle was a peaceful place again. They stayed there happily with many colours, dots, lines and shapes ever after.

I like to play with yellow dots but I do not like brown dots to play with me because they always bully me. The days passed by, I enjoyed playing with them. I need to move my house a few days later. The cobra is firing two green fire balls at the one-eyed parrot monster.

On a hot and sweltering afternoon, a snake went to hunt for food. After hunting for a while, it cannot find anything to eat and was starved. However, it decided to persevere to search for food. Just then, a butterfly flew by the snake. The snake spotted it and aimed it for its lunch. The butterfly realised its plot. It tried to escape away but the snake managed to grab hold of it. The butterfly pleaded the snake not to eat it up as it has family to take care of. The butterfly also promised that it would help the snake if it came to some obstacles. The snake hesitated and agreed. The butterfly thanked the snake for letting it off. One day, the snake fell into a big hole, it shouted for help. The butterfly just in time flew by and called for its friend, lion. The lion came and rescued the snake out of the hole. In the end, the three of them became best friends.

I am a butterfly in this picture.One bright and sunny morning,I am 'playing'with my friends,Curly Line,Wavy Line,Straight Line,Broken Line and the Dots family in the jungle.Suddenly,a big bully(which is a brown eagle)appeared.The big bully grabbed all my friends and kept them in a secret room in a huge tower.Ecxept for me.I hid in my home and dont dare to come out until my parents were home.I told them what had happened.They said that we must go to the colour world and buy the eagle's favourite colour and paint the eagle's favourite food to poison the eagle.And in the middle of the night(12midnight)we went in the house.But I did not see my friends. We try to figure out what to press to go in th secret room.Then suddenly I pull out a book and the secret door open.We saw the eagle sleeping.We quietly put the poisoned food on the table.We ran out of the secret room,push back the book and went home.The next day,when the eagle saw the food he quickly gobble it up.At that moment,he fainted and died.We quicky ran in the house and pulled the book and went in.We look around and saw the key.We took the key and unlocked the cage.Mother brought us back home.And we lived happily ever after.

near the long river. First, we put a mosquito repellent to
ward off the mosquitos, some logs,meat and many more.It was a long trip from my house to the river. While we were walking to the river, we saw some monkeys swinging from tree to tree.My companion and I gave them some bananas. They quickly took the bananas and shoved it into their mouths.My companion and I laughed at the monkeys because they looked very cute when they shoved the bananas in to their mouths. When we arrived, it was already evening. We quickly built a tent. When we built finished the tent, we built a fire.Then we cooked the food we brought. The food we cooked was delicious because we were very hungry that time. After we ate finished the food,we slept inside our tent. we went home in the morning. I will never the time when i met the monkeys.

This painting consists of many different kind of lines, dots, colors, shapes & forms. I am a dot in the paintings. I travel on the lines which is my destiny path. I also travels on different color of lines. Different colors of lines represents different sides of life. If I am standing on a dark color line, I am in a dark side of life. If I am standing on a bright color line, I am in a brighter side of life. The different shapes represents the different obstacles I went through. The longer the shapes, the more my problems are. In all, it forms a girl which is me going through the ups and downs of life.

One sunny day, I, the yellow
dot, was playing leap frog with the other two yellow dots. Suddenly, I saw a giant parrot and a very long snake destroying the town. The green zig-zag line was trying to stop the snake and the parrot from attacking us and the two big green dots were fighting with the snake. A brown monkey was running away. A big drangonfly came to the rescue and flapped its wings. The wings was so strong that the snake was blown away. The parrot was so afraid, it flew away hastily. The town was saved! Every one in the town was grateful to the dragonfly, the green zig-zag line and the big green dots.

Hello!My name is John.I am a medium-sized yellow and red dot.I live near a short,orange-striped, yellow and curvy line.He is my neighbour and friend.
I live in a pool of dark blue.It is small but comfortable.Another of my neighbour is a red organic shape with blue spots and dots.It is quite big and sometimes can't hear me.
One bright and sunny morning,I went for a holiday at the other side of the forest.I came to a green zig-zag line and,boy,was it hard to climb over it!
After climbing over the zig-zag hill,I walked along a curvy,yellow-with-big black dots line(the line acted as a road).When the road ended,I went to a dark-green bridge to continue my journey and I saw a red smudge of paint on the bridge.I asked,"Excuse me,where does this bridge lead to?".The red smudge answered,"This bridge will lead to two big caves with the colours of green,yellow and orange.I think there is one pearl in each cave..."
With that,I dashed across the bridge to the two caves.True enough,I found the pearls in the caves.Goodness,they were big and heavy!
When I was past the two caves, I saw a cliff in front.I did not know what to do.Suddenly, I saw a few lines of paint and asked them for help.They stood in a line and formed a pathway and I walked across. "Thank you!", I shouted to them.I went on my way and saw two large green boulders.They were heading towards me! I quickly jumped aside to avoid them.After the boulders rolled past, I gasped.My neighbours were standing in front of me! I asked, "Where am I?". "Home!", they answered.I sat on a chair and told them about my journey."Ah, and one more thing!". I took out the pearls and showed them to my neighbours. "Wow! Can you give them to us?", they asked eagerly.And I guess you know the answer......"NO!!"

It was a busy day. There were many people going to work and many students going to school at curvy street. I had just moved into curvy street and I saw many unfamilar faces there. There are different uniforms,there are dotted red spots and zig-zag lines on the uniforms.
The new house that I just moved in is a secondary colour with straight lines. My neighbour has a warm colour with pink stripes on the house.I was very happy.
It is bright and sunny in the jungle.The animals are very happy to see such a nice day because they can play together.They pass a message to tell everyone that they will meet at the middle of the jungle.After a while,everyone came.They saw many secondary and primary colours.The only animal in the jungle is curly lined is the snake.And the only that has the most dots is the giraffe.They play many games together.At the end of the day,all the animals are very happy.

I am a little blue dot.I live in a dot house next to the winding road that leads to the grassy jungle and Lime Mine East.Every day, I walk down the Linelsia Path to get to school. The Linelsia Path is a curvy road between plantations full of the fragrant-smelling Linelsia flower.The fields are very bright red.
There are shapes everywhere,circles,crescents and ovals.The lines are very curvy ,bendy and broken.In the grassy jungle,there are a lot of dark colours.One day,while I was walking home ,I saw dots of my own kind leaving their homes and running out of town.Suddenly,a big splash appeared from the sky and turned into a monster.It was a dangerous monster.Everyone lived in fear.One day a big rock fell on it and it died.Everyone lived happily ever after.

The other dots and lines are my friends.I am a purple dot in this painting.I do not like my colour because purple makes me sad and some of the other dots are always teasing me but the butterfly always cheers me up and the snake always said crying won't make anything better.There are wavy and curvy lines and they are very nice.I like yellow,green and red dots.I like living here because it is very nice.

One day , I was lost in a forest. I saw lots of different things. There are curve lines, wavy lines, dots and colours. There are colourful dots and shapes. I played with them happily until night. A kind green dot offered me to stay at his house forever, but he asked me to promise him that I will do the household chores for him. I promise to do so and I also thanked him continuously . Every day, I do the household chores for him. He was very grateful to me. One day , I found out that my mother was sick, I asked the green dot to let me go home for two weeks. He agreed and I packed my things and I decided to try cycling home after many twists and turns in the forest, I reached my home . Two weeks later , I went back to the forest and told all the shapes that they can pack up and live at my house. They danced and cheered. We set off the very next day. We reached my house and we lived happily ever after.

I am a red dot in the picture.I am on a snake.All of my friends are either dots,lines or shapes.All of them have a different colour and form.
One day,while I was sitting on the snake,an eagle swooped down and ate it up.So,from that day onwards,I found a grass patch and sat on it.Day and day passed by,until one day,another red dot landed beside me.We decided to be friends.
One week later,a sudden shower of paint went down onto the piece of paper we were on.All of us became friends and lived in harmony forever and ever!

I am just the pupil of a giraffe's eye with small size and dull colour.Then, the artist paintd a white circle around me, so now, I am very happy with my size,shape and colour.As for the other dots,they were extremely jealous of me and they all committed suicide and jumped of the giraffe and were never ever seen again.

In the painting family, there are not only dots, there are lies ad shapes. We all must respect our leader. I am a maid we maids do chores like wash clothes, sweeping and we serve our leader. Dear pupils,
Its great to read so many comments from you. It is a good start. I’m impressed with some of your work, especially Tan Yarn Chyi’s comments (4A), whose effort wins a token for the month of August. He has shown effort to describe, analyse, interpret and evaluate the piece of work. Well done!
However, some of you still did not describe, analyse and interpret the artwork in your comments. You only evaluate it. That’s not good enough. You are also encouraged to comment on your friends’ comments, not just comment on the artwork alone. Do look out for next month’s task and give your best shot then.

Feedback on practise 1
Dear pupils,
Its great to read so many comments from you. It is a good start. I’m impressed with some of your work, especially Tan Yarn Chyi’s comments (4A), whose effort wins a token for the month of August. He has shown effort to describe, analyse, interpret and evaluate the piece of work. Well done!
However, some of you still did not describe, analyse and interpret the artwork in your comments. You only evaluate it. That’s not good enough. You are also encouraged to comment on your friends’ comments, not just comment on the artwork alone. Do look out for next month’s task and give your best shot then.

once there was a king who is the tiger have two wives. the king was name jim and her two wives were called sally and mindy.I am the first wife that was called sally.althogh,i am the wife but i am also a small dot.I got lots of friends.My best friend was called ann.I am scared of the king and all the animals too.One day the king was very angry and tested mindy and me where he could find happiness.althogh we do not knoew but we tried.Mindy was not doing anything and she was trying to copy mine idea.I sent some servents to the jungle and find.First they met the elephant.the elephant told them that the key of happiness is having party.they did not believe and went on.they went to the monkey and ask but they say hving tea.they still did not agreed and went on.fanilly they went to the rabbit and the rabbt told them that the key of happiness is to be nice,kind and honest.When they went back, they told me about it. I quickly told the king.the king was so happy because he can get it.I also told the king that mindy tried to copy my idea.He ask mindy is in true and mindy said yes.he ask mindy to go back to the jungle and i will be the queen.at last mindy was back in the jungle and the king and i live happily ever after.
